Where Does Ryanair Fly From?

Ryanair flights from airports across the UK to many cities throughout Europe. UK airports include Aberdeen, Belfast, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle and Teesside, with new bases and routes being added regularly, so make sure to keep an eye out on news from your local airport. Some airports may have a seasonal focus, only offering flights to cities during peak times of the year, such as the summer, or Christmas break destinations in the winter.

Ryanair City Break Destinations

The cities on offer with Ryanair seem to be endless, ranging from domestic cities in the UK to further afield in the Ukraine and everywhere in between. What's great about Ryanair city break destinations is that there are some real hidden gems amongst all the well-known places. So instead of heading to Bordeaux, why not try a short break in Brindisi? Or if you've already visited Paris, why not discover an escape to Pula? Plus you've got all the usual favourites including Venice, Krakow, Prague and Seville.

What's Included

If you're booking your flight and hotel directly via Ryanair.com, that's all that will be included in the basic price. As with anytime you book a Ryanair flight, customers can add on all the option extras as required, from flexible tickets and preferred seating, to extra baggage and travel insurance, all at an additional cost.

With the hotel element, although booking on the 'Rooms' section of the official Ryanair website, the booking will actually be with Hotels.com as a completely separate booking (and confirmation number), so your city break isn't financially protected through the ABTA or ATOL scheme. If you do choose to book this way, you'll still have the option of upgrading your booking or potentially adding in things like breakfast when you do book.

If you choose to book through a third party tour operator, similarly, it will just be the basic flight (seat only) and hotel included within the cost of your booking.

City Break Types

There are a variety of different types of city break you can enjoy with Ryanair, made even more possible from the wide range of destinations they fly to, including the more unusual, lesser known cities like Poznan in Poland, Ancona in Italy and Santiago in Spain.

Beach City Breaks

It's great to be able to combine the beach with the bustle of a lively city, so destinations like Barcelona, Palma and Cagliari can make wonderful city breaks if you like to enjoy the sunshine at the same time.

Historic City Breaks

Europe's vibrant history makes any stay an insight into the years gone by, from the exotic architecture of Venice to the ancient temples of Athens. You can discover some of the great city breaks in Europe here.
