A Guide To Spa Breaks Under £100pp

If you really need to keep your spa experience less than £100 per person, while not an overnight stay, day spa access can often provide the much needed break you are after. Many spa day deals also include a treatment of some sort, whether a short massage, manicure or a number of other relaxing treatments.

Plus it means you can up the notch a bit and go for a nicer spa, or it leaves cash spare for a little extra treatment, glass of champagne, or shopping to get that something you've wanted for ages to help make you feel like a superstar after all that pampering.

If you're looking to stay over, on night breaks are great at keeping the cost down, while truly feeling like you're getting away from it all on a girly getaway or romantic retreat. Sharing with a friend or partner will certainly help to keep the cost down on a per person basis, however, one night spa breaks for one person are still possible under £100pp.

You'll be incredibly pushed to find a two night spa break within the £100 budget, but we have found that the hotel chain Mercure, offer two night 'leisure breaks' from only £99 per person.

What To Expect On A Spa Break

Well the first thing you should expect is access to a spa! But of course there are loads of different facilities and extras you can take advantage of depending on where you are going and how long you are staying.

Spa Days

For a spa day, you should expect access to the spa, wherever it may be, often accompanied with the use of towels and robes. Some spas may also offer a complimentary glass of champagne or fresh juices. Be sure to keep an eye out for deals that include a light breakfast or lunch, and some spa deals can include small treatments such as pedicures or head massages. With many offers, you may also find you get a 10%-25% discount on treatments at the spa.

One Night Spa Breaks

To include a night's accommodation within your £100pp budget is pretty good going, so with a one night spa break, you'll often find breakfast is included with your hotel room price, plus access to the spa of course, and potentially other facilities available at the hotel or resort, such as fitness studio or tennis courts. You may also be able to get dinner included too, or at a discounted rate for a set menu.

Keeping An Eye Out For The Latest Deals

If you do anything, always keep an eye out for the latest spa break offers, especially with spas and hotels local to you, or your favourite one. Many hotels will offer discounts during quieter times of the year or even week (Sunday nights are always a great opportunity to get discounted spa stays).

The other thing to do, of course, is to put a spa day on your birthday or Christmas list. Or just keep dropping hints as you get to your next anniversary.
