You don't know where you will be staying until you've booked and paid, but fear not as these hotels are often 4 and 5 star hotels in central locations. What does this mean? More money spare for you to spend while you're in London.
When looking for central hotels in London, Paddington is often an area that offers good accommodation on a budget. A four star hotel, for example, can cost as little as £60 per room per night. We'll warn you now though, you might have to be flexible with dates too as availability can go very quickly.
Other good, central areas to stay include Holborn/Bloomsbury and Waterloo. You can also get some good weekend hotel deals around Canary Wharf as these hotels normally target business travellers during the week so are quieter at weekends, although it's probably not the most ideal location if you are visiting as a tourist.
Other hotel chains in London that aren't offered by lastminute.com but do offer good value for money include:
- Premier Inn
- Tune Hotels
