Thomas Cook free child places were available while the company was still running and was a great way to save, however, they are no longer available since the company went into administration. Free kids places are available at certain times of the year with other similar brands like Jet2holidays and TUI, to help families save money and get away on holiday in 2024 / 2025.
With destinations including Spain, Greece and Turkey, and package holidays offering everything you would expect from a beach break in the sun, free child places are a great way to save on your next family holiday.
As part of these offers, kids fly free but can still get food and drink included, as well as resort activities as part of the overall cost of the family holiday.
As Thomas Cook child places are no longer available (their brands included Sentido hotels, Sunwing, Cook's Club and Smartline), we work with Jet2holidays, so check whether your favourite holiday resorts and destinations are included in their offers by searching above and seeing what's available. You might find you need be a little flexible on dates and specific resorts as places can go quickly.

Spain is the classic summer beach holiday destination for us Brits. There used to be a range of Thomas Cook hotels as part of the free kids places offer in Spain, including Salou, Benidorm and Torremolinos. Turkey also has some fantastic resorts, beautiful beaches and stunning turquoise sea to be enjoyed. Some larger resorts in Turkey are also included as part of the deal with the likes of First Choice Holidays and Jet2.
Other popular Thomas Cook free kids destinations included Greece like Kos, Halkidiki and Rhodes, with their range of family friendly hotels, and the Algarve, where there are plenty of accommodation options to suit families big and small and is very well suited to Brits.
What's Included?
While the child's place might be free, families can still expect everything as if they were paying full price. Flights, food and beverages and the most important of all, most kids activities are all included. Usually a piece of check-in luggage and airport transfers are also included in the cost.
The offer varies from company to company so make sure to check when you book, what is included in the offer. With ATOL and ABTA protected tour operators like Thomas Cook (TC) was, your money is protected and although it might take a little while, you should still be able to get a refund if anything happens, like it did with TC.
