Getting to, from and around Cala Llonga
Ibiza airport to Cala Llonga takes about 20 minutes by car and up to two hours by public transport. If you don't plan on seeing much of the island, book a pre-paid coach transfer from the airport to your accommodation, which will be quicker than public transport and far less stressful if you have kids and luggage in tow.
If you want to see more of the island than just this beautiful cove, hire a car from the airport to get to your hotel in Cala Llonga but also to head out on a day trip or two to find some of Ibiza's other hidden coves. Things to do in Cala Llonga
Enjoying the beach is one of the main things to do in Cala Llonga. The water here is clear with that wonderful turquoise shade that we all want in our Instagram photos. Grab a bite to eat at L'Altre Balagar Restaurant, a drink at Chiringuito Toni, or simply take a packed lunch to enjoy down on the sandy beach.
For a little day trip out, head up the coast to Santa Eularia des Riu, a small marina town with a few restaurants and shops and a couple of great beaches. Head back to Cala Llonga via the Santa Eulalia ferry or take a day trip to one of the other areas along the south coast of Ibiza like Es Canar or Ibiza town, or even a trip over to the island of Formentera.
