TUI BLUE Pardu

About The TUI BLUE Pardu
TUI BLUE Pardu opens in May 2026 on the south-east coast of Sardinia, in the Ogliastra region, and it sits in one of the most beautiful and least-visited stretches of the island. Cardedu is a proper Sardinian town, not a resort that happens to have locals living in it. The landscape is extraordinary: golden dunes running down to a five-kilometre sandy beach, the distinctive red-tinged rock of the Ogliastra cliffs, wild macchia scrubland scented with rosemary and myrtle, and the sea shifting through shades of green and blue depending on where you are standing and what time of day it is.
As a family hotel, TUI BLUE Pardu gets the balance right. With 145 rooms it is the right size. Big enough to have proper sports facilities, a good pool, a kids club and decent restaurants, but small enough that it does not feel like a holiday factory. It is also exceptionally well positioned for families who want to get out and explore. The Gulf of Orosei is just up the coast, offering some of the most spectacular and unspoilt coves in the whole of the Mediterranean, accessible by boat from nearby Arbatax.
Cagliari Airport is around 129 kilometres away, approximately 120 minutes by road. Book a TUI package and the transfers are included, which takes the logistics of the journey completely off your hands.

Our Verdict
South-east Sardinia is the part of the island that rewards the families who make the effort to find it. TUI BLUE Pardu is the hotel that stretch of coast has been waiting for. A proper resort with proper facilities, built new from the ground up, in one of the least-visited and most spectacular stretches of Mediterranean coastline.
The hotel will be excellent. The location is outstanding. The Gulf of Orosei boat trips will be what children talk about when they get home. Go in September if there is flexibility. Go in May to be among the first. Either way, this is a holiday that will not disappoint.
Why The South-East Sardinian Coast Is Worth The Journey
Most of Sardinia's reputation is built on the north and the Costa Smeralda, and that reputation is deserved. But the south-east coast is something else. Quieter, rawer and in some ways more authentically Sardinian than anywhere else on the island, the Ogliastra region rewards the families who find it.
The beach at Cardedu runs for five kilometres. On a busy August day there is still room to find a quiet patch because there is simply that much of it. The water is the kind of clear that people tend not to believe until they are standing in it, with the sand visible on the seabed at chest height.
And then there is the Gulf of Orosei. Cala Goloritzé is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cala Mariolu is regularly cited as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. These coves are accessible only by boat or on foot down dramatic cliff paths, which is exactly why they remain almost entirely unspoilt. A day trip by boat from nearby Arbatax stopping at three or four of these coves is one of those travel experiences that families remember for decades. Do not miss it.
