The peak school holiday season can be notoriously expensive when it comes to booking a holiday. Airlines push up their prices, as do hotels, and availability decreases, and ultimately the cost of a family holiday rises. We hunt around for school holiday deals, however having the ability to travel during the off-peak days and periods can help save some serious cash. Try midweek departures out of the school holidays and you'll be sure to find a good deal or two.
