A fantastic, family-friendly resort along Tenerife's Playa Paraiso, the Bahia Principe Sunlight Costa Adeje Hotel offers guests and great holiday experience in 2024/2025. Not to be confused with the Bahia Principe Sunlight Tenerife (which is another hotel in the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts brand, and is located just up the road), this 4-star hotel is one of the most popular on the island and is a great all inclusive option if you want to stay within the hotel walls and enjoy the facilities on offer.
Four restaurants, three pools, evening entertainment and a range of daytime sports and activities like mini-golf, aqua aerobics, a gym and spa, and more ensure you're kept as busy as you like while you're on holiday in Tenerife.
For children, there's also a kids' club and mini disco, however, if you do find yourself wanting to get out and explore, Playa Paraiso is a short walk away, although some of this is over rough ground. The hotel also has a daily shuttle bus service to Playa de las Americas Beach so that you can enjoy the lively shops, bars and restaurants on offer in the main tourist area.

There are three main room types here, each able to sleep up to three people. All rooms have a hairdryer in the bathroom, a shower in the bathtub, bathroom amenities, air conditioning and satellite TV. Standard Room
Standard rooms at the hotel are clean and comfortable and are the lead-in room type. All rooms have hairdryer and that all important air conditioning. Standard rooms can be arranged as either a double bed or twin single beds, with a foldaway bed available if necessary.
Standard Sea Side Rooms enjoy partial sea views and offer everything else you would expect with a standard double. The views from the balcony look out over the surrounding area with glimpses of sea views too.
The Junior Suites provide some extra space with a living room area and a sofa bed, which can sleep 2 children. They also have a balcony or terrace and a whirlpool bath in the bathroom.

There are three swimming pools here, a children's pool, the main swimming pool which has pool sports like water polo and aqua aerobics, and if you'd rather a more relaxing pool day, the infinity pool, with views out to sea offers a more peaceful environment.

The hotel has both a gym, for if you want to keep up with your fitness programme or keep a few of those holiday pounds off, as well as a spa centre which features treatment rooms and a range of treatments including massage, manicures and pedicures.
Entertainment

Six restaurants and several bars are dotted about the resort (with two of these a la carte restaurants are located at the nearby sister hotel), offering a wide range of choice of both food and beverages. Portofino, Mirador, El Puertito and Casa Bonita Steak House are located at the Costa Adeje resort, while the Teide, Dona Lupita and Asia restaurants are located at the Tenerife hotel donw the road.

The Mirador Restaurant is the main buffet restaurant here, serving a huge range of difference dishes and cuisines, ranging from healthy salads and fresh fish, to mouthwatering meats and delicious desserts. The dress code here is that shoes and a cover-up or shirt should be worn.
Pool Restaurant - El Puertito
Serving up a variety of a la carte international cuisines, El Puertito is open for dinner and is located down by the quiet infinity pool. This is an ideal spot for a romantic meal at sunset. This is a popular restaurant and reservations are required, so it's good to get this one booked up early.
Portofino Restaurant
Portofino is the Italian restaurant at the heart of the hotel. The dress code here is semi-formal (swimming and gym clothes are not allowed). Reservations are required.
Casa Bonita Steak House
If you love grilled meat and delicious wines to match, you'll love Casa Bonita. This steakhouse style restaurant has a strong barbecue selection of dishes and gets very popular. Reservations are also required here.
Bars
There are three bars here, two in the main hotel area including a sports bar, as well as the pool bar for those all important daytime cocktails and cold beers.
Things to Do
The area around the hotel is actually fairly quiet, although Playa Paraiso is a short walk away across the boardway and rough ground. Here you'll find a small selection of bars and restaurants if you want to venture outside of the hotel. If it's a more lively place, then jump in a taxi and head down to Costa Adeje or Playa de las Americas.
Beach
The closest beach to the hotel is Playa Las Salinas which is a rocky beach and not really one for a relaxing sunbathe on the sand. For this you might want to venture a little further up the coast to Playa Las Galgas which has a black sand beach. La Caleta de Adeje is a larger beach further down the coast but more difficult to get to, while Playa del Duque in Costa Adeje offers the golden sand beach you might prefer.
Siam Park
Whether you're on a family holiday with the kids, or just a romantic couple, a fun day out at Siam Park water park is an absolute must. Rated as the world's number 1 water park on TripAdvisor, Siam Park offers a huge range of rides, attractions, wave pool and lazy river, perfect for whether you prefer to scream down the waterslides or simply enjoy a relaxing "beach" day.
Playa De Las Americas
For a livelier escape from the hotel, head to the bustling promenades of Playa de las Americas. Here you'll find busy beach bars, loads of budget friendly restaurants and plenty to see and do.
Excursions & Day Trips
One of the great things about Tenerife is the sheer number of activities on offer. Another great way to explore is to join an excursion or day trip to see more of the island, whether by land or sea. Head out on a boat and go dolphin watching, try your hand a surfing, or head up into the forest to see the impressive lava fields and Mount Teide volcano. The hotel will be able to help you book this when you arrive, or you can book them in advance.

If you're booked on a package holiday with TUI or Jet2holidays, your airport transfers are likely already included. If you've booked with another tour operator like On The Beach or easyJet Holidays, you may want to add this when you book your holiday. It's an easy and affordable way to get to your hotel.
