Package holidays can be booked with all your typical travel agents and tour operators, and for extra peace of mind and your financial protection, make sure you book with an ABTA bonded or ATOL protected provider, as this can keep your money safe should certain situations arise. Booking a package holiday can also mean saving money, particularly if some of the extras are included like airport transfers or a luggage allowance.
We always recommend booking with a provider for ATOL protection, however, if you do choose to book your flight and hotel separately, you may be able to secure some great offers by booking directly with the hotel, either by phone or through the official Melia website, where offers can include things like meals, free nights or golf and spa packages. This can be particularly useful if you were planning to use the hotel facilities during your stay.

This Melia resort is located in the far north west of Tenerife, one of the furthest points on the island, which means a quiet and relaxing break. The journey from Tenerife South airport will take around 90 minutes by coach, depending on the number of stops along the way. There are two ways to get here, the longer but more straight forward route, circling the island anti-clockwise along the motorways, or heading clockwise, past Los Gigantes and up into the mountains around Masca. This route is better suited to cars, but with dramatic scenery and sheer drop cliffs, this may not be your chosen route if you're hiring a car and driving yourself.

This really is the place to come away and escape in tranquil surroundings, which does mean it's further from Tenerife Airport South than most other resorts.
