In the UK, you can find some great city weekend breaks and with a budget of &400pp, you can explore some of the bigger cities like London, including an attraction or two like an evening theatre show or a slap up meal. Don't forget to include your train fare or parking, which isn't always cheap but can be cheaper at weekends. Higher budgets mean you can also stay in the city centre instead of the outskirts so areas like Oxford Street and Southbank may only be a short walk away.
