Atlantic Islands - Cruise Itinerary
Day 1
Depart Las Palmas: 11pm
Your cruise starts in Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria. Embarking the ship in the afternoon, you'll have a chance to settle into your room and explore the ship a little before heading to one of the fantastic restaurants on board.
As evening rolls around, after dinner, you'll be able to take in a show or two, or enjoy your favourite cocktail at one of the many bars on board before Marella Discovery 2 sets sail at 11pm for Tenerife.
Day 2 - Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Arrive Santa Cruz: 7:30am
Depart Santa Cruz: 11pm
It's a long day in Tenerife today which means you've got plenty of time to cram as much in as you can. Arriving in Santa Cruz in the north of the island, this is your chance to see a different side of Tenerife, far away from the bustling hotspots of Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje. Instead, take in a quieter beach, enjoy a coach drive up into the lava fields below Mount Teide, or enjoy strolling around Tenerife's capital city.
Day 3 - Santa Cruz de La Palma
Arrive La Palma: 8am
Depart La Palma: 3pm
You might have been to the other islands but there's a good chance you've not been to La Palma, the fifth largest of the Canaries. While enjoying dramatic scenery and glorious sunshine, La Palma offers a much more authentic Canarian experience for visitors. Unsure what to do? Book onto an organised coach tour with a guide so you don't miss anything.
Day 4 - Funchal, Madeira
Arrive Madeira: 9am
Depart Madeira: 7pm
Today you'll arrive in Madeira. A dramatic island towering out of the Atlantic Ocean. Known as the Garden Island, Madeira enjoys an "eternal spring" with relatively warm temperatures throughout the year, and lots of greenery. The gardens and flowers are well known here and you should certainly explore. Don't forget to try the famous Toboggan Ride down the steep streets.
Day 5 - At Sea
The only sea day within this itinerary, after a few days of busy exploring, now's your chance to sit back, relax and enjoy the ship a little more. Check the schedule to see what's on across the ship, or simply head upstairs and grab a sunbed to enjoy the warm weather.
Day 6 - Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura
Arrive Fuerteventura: 8am
Depart Fuerteventura: 6pm
Fuerteventura is the ideal place for a holiday, whether you prefer active adventures or relaxing on the beach. Head out onto a 4x4 trip or bike tour if you're wanting the thrills, but if you just want to sit back and relax, head to the beaches of Corralejo. This golden sands spread for miles along the coast and are some of the most idyllic (and Instagram-worthy) in Spain.
Day 7 - Arrecife, Lanzarote
Arrive Lanzarote: 8am
Depart Lanzarote: 6pm
This classic island is the perfect last stop on your Canaries cruise, whether you still want to do something adventurous, enjoy the beach one last time, or try something new with one of the trips available. It's also a great place for a bit of dolphin spotting.
Day 8
Arrive Las Palmas: 8am
This morning you'll arrive back in Gran Canaria. If you're heading home today, once you'll disembark you'll be directed to your relevant caoch. If you've decided to extend your holiday and stay on the island, ask the TUI rep as to what's been organised to get you to your hotel.
