Magic Of Spain - Cruise Itinerary
Day 1
Depart Palma: 10pm
You'll join your ship, the Marella Voyager, in Majorca. If you've arrived this morning, find your TUI holiday rep at Palma airport who will let you know where to find your coach that will take you to the port.
Boarding is easy and once you're on board, there's time to get to know your cabin, or explore the decks and what's on offer before setting sail at 10pm. There is plenty on offer, from a range of bars and restaurants to organised activities and shows.
Day 2
Today is the only sea day on this itinerary, so you get to enjoy all the facilities on board. Maybe you'll head straight to the sundeck for a bit of sunbathing by the pool, or if you're travelling alone, join one of the meet-ups, tour talks or activities to start making friends. Fancy starting off your holiday in the right way? Head to the spa and book in for a treatment, and don't forget to try out all the amazing food on board.
Day 3
Arrive Gibraltar: 9am
Depart Gibraltar: 10pm
There's something quite special about Gibraltar. Although part of the UK, there's still a very Spanish feel about the place. Maybe it's just the sunshine, but it's well worth a wander. Or why not take an organised trip up Gibraltar Rock for some incredible views of the surrounding coastline.
Day 4
Arrive Cadiz: 8am
Depart Cadiz: 5pm
Cadiz is one of those hidden gem destinations. It's not on the tourist trail as much as other areas of coastal Spain so there's still a very strong Spanish feel. From its huge fish market to the glorious sandy beaches, a walk around the walls and promenade of the city is a must. Or you can book onto a shore excursion and head into the stunning city of Seville for the day.
Day 5
Arrive Malaga: 8am
Depart Malaga: 7pm
Malaga is known as the gateway to the Costa del Sol, and while you might think of areas like Torremolinos and Marbella, there are some hidden gems here, including Malaga city itself. If you don't fancy exploring, jumping in a taxi at the port and heading to the beach can be a perfect way to spend the day here.
Day 6
Arrive Almeria: 8am
Depart Almeria: 4pm
Almeria is another one of those Spanish destinations you don't automatically think of, but is well worth enjoying. With an historic cathedral and fortress, there's plenty of history here. Be sure to head into some of the quieter backstreets to find a local tapas bar for the ultimate in Spanish cuisine.
Day 7
Arrive Alicante: 9am
Depart Alicante: 4pm
Alicante is another wonderfully modern yet historic city. Head up to Castell de Santa Barbara for amazing views or enjoy one of the many museums throughout the city. This is another great place for a beach day with the soft golden sand beach of Playa del Postiguet just outside the port.
Day 8
Arrive Palma: 6am
Today, Marella Voyager will arrive back into Majorca around 6am, and it's certainly worth waking up for. If you're flying back today, you'll join your coach by the port that will take you to the airport, but why not extend for an extra few days in somewhere like Santa Ponsa, Cala d'Or or Alcudia?
