Situated on one of the main roads into sunny Skegness, the Parkdean Resorts Southview Holiday Park enjoys a quiet setting next to Beacon Park. The resort offers a range of family-friendly activities such as the indoor pool with flume, 9-hole golf course and children's playground, but still provides the peace and quiet you might hope for on holiday.

It's also just a five minute drive into Skegness for a day out at the shops or enjoying the fantastic beaches on the coast. The resort does offer evening entertainment, but it's easy to head into Skegness for a livelier night out.

Southview Park Facilities

The park features a range of activities and facilities no matter what you’re here for and who you're with. With a smaller park feel, those looking for a quiet, relaxing break will enjoy fewer people compared to other holiday parks in the area, along with the two lovely fishing lakes and nearby Beacon Park.

For those coming with friends, the indoor pool, 9-hole golf course and amusements are always fun, with a small amount of live entertainment onsite, but Skegness is just a short drive away for those late night nights out on the town. While those visiting with families will enjoy the having the children’s playgrounds and multi-sports court in resort. Skegness beach is also a must for those on holiday with kids. No holiday is ever complete without a trip to the beach for sandcastles and ice-creams.

Caravan Facilities

Southview offers a range of accommodation for all budgets. Caravans are available as two or three bedrooms and can sleep up to eight people, while the resort's lodges area a fantastic way to spend time with the family, enjoying home comforts such as a dishwasher and washer/dryer, as well as an outside veranda, perfect for daytime relaxing or evening drinks.

Lodges are a relatively new addition to Southview, providing larger and more comfortable accommodation for holidaymakers, and a great upgrade option. Three and four bedroom lodges are available and come complete with all the mod-cons you’d like to see. Lodges aren't dog friendly, however, a number of the caravan options available are pet-friendly so you can bring the 'other' family member along for an extra cost of £40 per week.

From the more affordable Sunningdale or Liphook Caravans, right up to the more luxurious Dainton Lodge, all accommodation types include a bathroom with shower, fridge, gas oven and TV with Freeview, so whichever you go for, you know you'll still have many of the homely comforts to make your stay enjoyable.

Things To Do Near Southview Holiday Park

At Parkdean Southview, you're not far from Skegness, so a day out by the seaside is the perfect way to spend time with the family, grab an ice cream, build sand castles and lots more. It's also a great place to head out for a special evening meal when you don't fancy cooking. Why not discover the Natureland Seal Sanctuary or enjoy the rides at the Pleasure Beach Fairground? You've also go Skegness Aquarium, Skegness Model Village.

Another fun day out is the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway, a chance to learn about some of the railway history from World War I, although check in advance of opening times and dates.
