Being an adults only park, Pontins have done away with the kids play areas and clubs and instead focused their attention on the more grown up customer. In terms of activities, like all Pontins resorts, Sand Bay offers a heated indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna to enjoy and relax, while the Bluecoat entertainment is a mix of bingo, line dancing and other themed activities.

In the evenings, there is live music and Bluecoat shows, as well as game shows and live bands with drinks available from the club bar.

One thing you'll want to make sure you do is explore the beach and coastline, ideal for leisurely strolls or more enduring walks to stay fit while on holiday.

All accommodation at Pontins Sand Bay offers limited cooking facilities so bear it in mind when booking. Instead you'll have tea and coffee making facilities, as well as private bath/shower room, LCD TV, central heating, and unlike other parks, bed linen and towels are included in the price of your holiday. All rooms are located on the ground floor making easy access for those who can't manage stairs.

Upgrade to a Club Apartment and enjoy a few little extras like complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival, bottled water, and a higher level of apartment decor.

Single rooms are also available on a first come first serve basis and are available at no single supplement based on availability so book early to avoid disappointment.

One of the most attractive aspects of Sand Bay is the beach. Located on the Somerset coastline just north of Weston-super-Mare, Sand Bay is a lovely stretch of beach, quieter than nearby Weston-super-Mare and perfect for long strolls or simply relaxing on the soft sand in the summer months.
