As one of the UKs most popular adults only holiday parks, Pontins Sand Bay is aimed at the over 50 guest looking to enjoy a seaside break in the UK without kids running around screaming. Instead, this fantastic park features many of the core facilities you would expect from a Pontins park, such as indoor swimming pool, evening entertainment, etc. without the families causing havoc.
Being an adults only park, Pontins have done away with the kids play areas and clubs and instead focused their attention on the more grown up customer. Apartments don't cater too well to the self-catering guest so you may find that you're eating out quite a bit, either at the on-site buffet restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner, or in local eateries nearby.
In terms of activities, like all Pontins resorts, Sand Bay offers a heated indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna to enjoy and relax, while the Bluecoat entertainment is a mix of bingo, line dancing and other themed activities.
In the evenings, there is live music and Bluecoat shows, as well as game shows and live bands with drinks available from the club bar.
One thing you'll want to make sure you do is explore the beach and coastline, ideal for leisurely strolls or more enduring walks to stay fit while on holiday.
All accommodation at Pontins Sand Bay offers limited cooking facilities so bear it in mind when booking. Instead you'll have tea and coffee making facilities, as well as private bath/shower room, LCD TV, central heating, and unlike other parks, bed linen and towels are included in the price of your holiday. All rooms are located on the ground floor making easy access for those who can't manage stairs.
Upgrade to a Club Apartment and enjoy a few little extras like complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival, bottled water, and a higher level of apartment decor.

The town of Weston-super-Mare is another great attraction for those staying at Sand Bay. An hours walk or a short drive from the park and you'll have access to the town centre for shopping, cinema, plenty of restaurants and bars and a more livelier feel resort.
