Pontins Pakefield Holiday Park

Pontins Pakefield Holiday Park is one of Pontins quieter parks. Located on the beautiful Suffolk coast between Pakefield and Kessingland, Pontins Pakefield enjoys some fantastic scenery and beautiful beach. Long walks along the beach followed by some delicious food and evening entertainment make a fun holiday.

Being a more adults only holiday park, the park facilities at Pakefield reflect that. While there are still fun activities like children's play area, crazy golf, kids cinema, swimming pool and plenty of entertainment with the Bluecoats. Of course there are plenty of day trips to enjoy from Pakefield too.

For the adults, bingo, dancing lessons, pitch and putt and much more are available, perfect for ending a relaxing day with a bit of fun and entertainment.

The Queen Vic Pub is a great stop for evening drinks and some tasty pub grub, while the Downtown Diner serves up American burgers, hotdogs and fries. The Cafe offers sandwiches and paninis, perfect for fighting off lunchtime hunger.

The on-site Nisa supermarket also stocks the necessities so that you can keep your holiday cheap and cook up a storm in your apartment. And don't forget The Ice Cream Hut for those hot summer day treats.

Unlike other Pontins Holiday Parks, Pakefield only has two types of accommodation, all of which are ground floor units.

Classic apartments can vary by size and inclusions but have either one or two bedrooms. Some will have a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave, toaster and kettle, while some apartments have a larger fitted kitchen area which includes hob and fridge in addition to the above.

Bathrooms vary with some apartments including a three quarter length bath while others have shower cubicles. There are four wheelchair accessible apartments at Pontins Pakefield. Guests can upgrade to one of two Club Apartments which enjoy more space, earlier check-in and beds made. You'll also enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine.

As one of the more quieter Pontins, Pakefield is in a great location for exploring the local area. A trip to the beach should definitely not be missed, whether you're building sandcastles with the family or enjoying a long and relaxing stroll along the sand.

Pleasurewood Hills

North of Lowestoft is Pleasurewood Hills, a family friendly theme park open from April to October at weekends and during school holidays. Rides range from scary loop-the-loop rollercoasters like the Canonball Express and Wipeout to more chilled out rides like he miniature railway and go karts. It's a fun day out for all the family.
