Things to Do
Vilamoura is a great area to stay in the Algarve. The Do Golfe apartments are located a little further away from the coast but if you love spending time at the beach, there's a free shuttle bus to Praia da Falesia beach, as well as to Vilamoura Marina, so you can spend some time near the coast, grab some lunch at one of the marina's restaurants, or head to Vilamoura beach.
Golf
With beautiful courses and plenty of sunshine, golf is very popular in the Algarve and for the expert golfers, Dom Pedro's Old Course is just a short walk away. Other Dom Pedro courses are also closeby. If you're new to golf and want to see what all the fuss is about, lessons can be booked.

Getting Here
The coach journey from Faro airport to the hotel is about 30-40 minutes, depending on any other stops along the way. By car it will take around 25 minutes. You can get to the main area of Vilamoura with the free shuttle bus from the Hotel Apartamentos to Vilamoura Marina or walking this will take around 45-60 minutes.

TripAdvisor reviews in 2024 for the Hotel Apartamentos do Golfe are really good, especially for such a cheap holiday option. The location is a little further from the beach, however, they do put on free shuttle buses to both Vilamoura Marina and Falesia Beach to help guests explore Quarteira. Apartments are spacious, clean and well equiped, while previous guests have also commented in reviews about how friendly the staff are at the hotel.
