The bright and modern, adults only Sol Beach House Hotel Ibiza by Melia, is a fantastic hotel located on headland near Santa Eularia des Riu in the east of Ibiza, about 30 minutes from Ibiza Airport and around 20 minutes from Ibiza Town. The beautiful views out to sea from the hotel's rooms, master suite and terraces are perfect for a couples or group holiday, helping to clear the mind and relax, and although the nearest beach is 1km away, guests of the hotel can swim off the rocks, with ladders making it easy to get in and out of the water.

The hotel's three swimming pools, terraces and plenty of sunbeds offers enough space to not feel crammed in unlike some other hotels in Ibiza. There are three swimming pools at the hotel, each with a number of Bali beds to hire and plenty of sunbeds. The hotel offers a small but modern gym and fitness facility, with a number of exercise cardio machines, weight machines and a number of free weights. Entertainment

There really is such a relaxed vibe here. You won't get evening entertainment like you would in some of the other larger (and family orientated) resorts. Here entertainment is in the form of chilled DJ sets at sunset, morning yoga and pilates sessions on the terrace and drinks at the rooftop bar.

There are two restaurants and two bars at the Sol Beach House for guests to enjoy and it's worth noting that all inclusive isn't available at the hotel, only bed & breakfast and half board basis options are. Special options such as vegan, vegetarian and gluten free are also available so make sure to let staff know when you book and at the restaurants.

The Kitchen Restaurant

The Kitchen is the hotel's main restaurant for breakfast and dinner which serves an extensive food menu of both Spanish and international dishes. Here you can enjoy delicious meals with beautiful sea views.

Sol Shack Chiringuito

The Sol Shack Chiringuito is open from 11am - 6pm is a great place to enjoy daytime food and drinks with a chilled out vibe. From healthy juices and salads, to more substantial meals like burgers and fish dishes, there's plenty of lunchtime options on the menu, or you can simply enjoy a drink with a few nibbles. Note: as the hotel doesn't offer all inclusive, food at the Sol Shack is chargeable.

Rooftop Bar

The fantastic rooftop bar and sun terrace is a beautiful spot to bask in the Spanish sunshine, by the pool while enjoying the incredible views. Access to the rooftop bar is free to guests who are staying in the hotel's Xtra rooms, but has an extra charge for other guests. From mid-June to mid-September, the rooftop terrace is open between 11am - midnight, so it's ideal for an evening drink, whether you're heading out for a big night or just want some chilled cocktails from the bar menu on the roof.

Things To Do

Whether you're staying at the Sol Beach House for the lively Ibiza parties, or simply taking the opportunity to enjoy some child free, chilled out vibes around the pool. There are plenty of things to do depending on what you're staying for. The nearest beach is a small beach (Playa Es Farallo) just a few steps from the hotel, although perhaps less of a beach you would spend too much time on. If it's a day by the beach, Santa Eulalia Beach in the other direction, just past Santa Eulalia Marina, is a lovely stretch of sandy beach. It's a small town with a number of hotels and some great restaurants. You'll also find a few bars but it's far from the nightlife you'll find in San Antonio and Playa d'en Bossa.

Hiring a car is a great way to get around and discover more of the island, but bike hire is far better option if you're staying at the Sol Beach House for some healthier R&R. Guests can hire bikes to explore the local area of Santa Eulalia des Riu for a small fee and is definitely something worth considering. If you prefer a bit of a walk, head into town and up to Carrer Grecia before making your way up to Ermita de sa Creu d'en Ribes, a tiny little chapel. Alternatively, head further a little further around the coast to Siesta and into the Montanas Verdes for a number of hiking trails along the coastline.

Try the very popular beachside Ses Savines restaurant with tasty Mediterranean cuisine and sea views. Or how about a bite to eat along the marina, like the El Rincon del Marino restaurant or Delfino Verde, both offering a relaxed dining experience with views of the marina.
