About the Parkdean Lower Hyde Holiday Park
Located on the lovely Isle of Wight, Parkdean Lower Hyde is a popular holiday resort for those who want to get away on a trip but stay within the UK. It's also 5 minutes walk from Shanklin train station so with the ferry from Portsmouth, it's a great park if you don't have a car or will be using public transport to get here. Don't worry about bringing food either as there is a Lidl supermarket just a five minute walk from the park, so it's easy to go self-catering.
One of the more popular features at Lower Hyde is the heated outdoor swimming pool and water slide. Open from late May to early September, the outdoor pool is the ideal place to relax or have fun in the summer months.

Other popular activities include the multi-purpose sports court, children's playground and amusement arcade. The Star Tots is the children's club for under 5 year olds, while the Starland Krew, hosted by the legednary Parkdean Troupers is the activity club for kids over 5 years. A packed programme of activities and fun is in store, even for adults.
In the evening, the Barnhouse Bar and Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy a family meal before your evening entertainment including shows, bingo, live bands and acts and an evening of dancing. Don't fancy eating out? No problem. Simply get the takeaway option or cook in the comfort of your own caravan or lodge kitchen.
When staying at Lower Hyde, you'll also get access to Parkdean's Landguard Holiday Park facilities which is a 10-15 minute walk away and includes both indoor and outdoor pools which may make for a nice change of scenery.
