Well situated for a family holiday on the north coast of Wales, Parkdean Ty Mawr holiday park sits amongst a number of other caravan parks between the seaside towns of Kinmel Bay and Pensarn. It's a popular area for UK holidaymakers with plenty to do in the area if you decide to venture outside of the park.
There is a range of activities at the park on offer for all the family including sports, kids clubs, mini golf and indoor swimming pool.

Ty Mawr Park Facilities
Although one of the smaller parks in the area, Ty Mawr still has a range of facilities to keep all the family busy on holiday. From the more active mini golf and sports courts, to the more relaxing heated indoor swimming pool, ideal for when the weather turns a little colder or for those winter holidays.
For the little ones the fun waterslide at the pool and the outdoor adventure playground will help them burn off some of that wild summer energy. The kids club will also keep them entertained with a variety of group activities and evening entertainment for children and the whole family on offer.
In the evening, the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant offers a variety dishes including a children's selection, and the Fish 'n' Chippery also is a great takeaway option for those times when you just don't fancy cooking for the family. You are on holiday after all!

The accommodation options at Ty Mawr are a mix of caravans and lodges which can sleep up to 8 people. Options available include central heating, double glazing, pet friendly and wheelchair friendly caravans, as well as extra-wide caravans for those that like a bit of extra space.
Cheap accommodation like the St Asaph Caravan and Gronant Caravan are great options for those on a budget, while the Whiteford Caravan and Llandudno Caravan offer a more stylish and spacious stay, particularly beneficial if you're 8 people staying on holiday.
Caravans come with facilities like fridge, TV, microwave and most also have fireplaces.
Things To Do Near Ty Mawr Holiday Park
A trip to the beach when staying at Parkdean Ty Mawr should definitely not be missed. A must for any family, summer holiday, time on the beach is always going to be a great way to spend some quality family time together. The nearest beach is just a 5-10 minute walk away, however, there are a variety of beaches scattered along the coastline here including Pensarn, Kinmel Bay and Rhyl.
Another great day trip out from Ty Mawr is to head into the nearby town of Rhyl by car or bus. There are plenty of things to do here, including the Seaquarium, the Rhyl Minature Railway and Botanical Gardens. Of course it's also a great place to enjoy an evening out, whether at a restaurant or a bar.
Closer to the park, Knightly's Fun Park is also a fun day out for the family, with arcade and bingo, funfair with rides including go karts, dodgems and the dragon coaster.
