Top 10 Holiday Parks With The Best Water Slides
When you're booking a family holiday, there are some things you just need to make sure is available at the holiday park. Good catering facilities, plenty of space and that all important swimming pool with water slide or waterpark. So we've pulled together our top 10 holiday parks with water slides in the UK. Some caravan parks only open their outdoor pools in the summer so we've highlighted opening times where possible.
10. Park Holidays Broadland Sands, Suffolk
The heated indoor pool at Broadland Sands Holiday Park has had a recent and fantastic update, and offers holidaymakers even more fun when the weather's not so great outside. The pool is a good size and has a 45-metre flume ride which will certainly keep the kids entertained on those rainy summer holidays. For the sunny days, you're also really close to the beach and with plenty of other activities on offer, this is one of our favourites. It's also just a few minutes away from popular Pleasurewood Hills.

9. Parkdean Barmston Beach, Yorkshire
Outdoor pool: Open June to September
Definitely one for the summer months, Barmston Beach Holiday Park is located on the beautiful Yorkshire coast and features a heated outdoor pool between June and September (make sure to check for specific opening dates as this varies from year to year). The water slide is a great addition for those hot summer days and you're also close to the beach so you have the best of both worlds.

8. Haven Golden Sands, Lincolnshire
Indoor and outdoor pools
Haven has a great reputation for it's facilities and Golden Sands Holiday Park is no different. Here, you'll find both indoor and outdoor pools, each with their own flume ride, so no matter the weather, you can have fun in the pool. Plus it's close to the beach and the Seal Sanctuary Wildlife Centre, so there's plenty to do in and outside the park.

7. Haven Caister, Norfolk
Not only is it just steps from the sandy Norfolk beach, Haven's Caister Holiday Park also features an indoor pool with lots of water activities, plus a three lane water slide, and you know what that means! Races! Race your friends and family down the slide to see who will be fastest and win. Other water activities include AquaJets and Aqua Gliders which will also be certain to keep the kids entertained.

6. Haven Thorpe Park, Lincolnshire
Indoor and outdoor pools
Located on the Lincolnshire coastline near Grimsby, Thorpe Park (not to be confused with the theme park), is one of Haven's best holiday parks for pools. For those colder days, the heated indoor pool has a fun splash zone to keep the kids busy. On hot summer days though, the outdoor Space Bowl flume ride and lazy river are the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine. There's also an outdoor splash zone ideal for younger children too.

5. Butlin's Minehead
Although it doesn't have as many water slides as the other Butlin's holiday parks, Minehead features four fun slides within it's indoor swimming complex, including a Space Bowl flume ride and a blaster ride. The little ones also have a splash zone to enjoy, plus everyone's favourite, the lazy river.

4. Haven Craig Tara, South Ayrshire
Not only does Haven's Craig Tara park have lots of new adventure play areas, it also has a fantastic indoor pool area with lots of different slides and activities. Racing down the multi-lane water slide or relaxing on the lazy river are just two of the many fun aspects of the multi-level pool complex, Splashaway Bay. And if you've got kids under 5, don't worry, there's a special fun pool section for the infants too.

3. Butlin's Skegness, Lincolnshire
Indoor pool (with outdoor rapids)
At Butlin's Skegness resort, the main indoor pool (heated) is surrounded by a range of different water slides and actvities, as well as the outdoor river rapids. Jump in a raft and enjoy a ride with the family, or for the really adventurous, try the 60ft high Vortex Fast Flume ride which will flush you into a giant bowl!

2. Haven Devon Cliffs, Devon

Like many holidaymakers, Haven's Devon Cliffs holiday parks really is one of our favourites. It's a great quality park with a heap of fun activities and close to the beach. But what we really love are the heated pools. Indoors, the pool has a four lane water slide so you can race your family, as well as a flume ride too. Meanwhile the outdoor pool open during the summer months has a couple of fun water features when the sun shines.
Why we like it: Devon Cliffs is a popular park with good quality accommodation and activities on offer
1. Butlin's Bognor Regis, West Sussex
Indoor and ourdoor pools
Butlin's is a classic family favourite park and just recently had a full upgrade to it's pools at a cost of £40 million so you know it's going to be a good holiday. Now, the park can fit 950 people at any one time and offers an indoor park full of slides, activities and a wave pool too. The world's first helter skelter water slide, racing slides and outdoor rapids make this park our favourite holiday park for water slides in the UK. Butlin's does get booked up very quickly and it's easy to see why. This place will have the kids smiling from ear to ear the whole holiday.
Why we like it: Lots and lots of water slides with fun for all the family, whatever the age.
