Standard rooms offer guests two single beds (pushed together as a double room), plus private bathroom, desk, hair dryer and satellite TV. Air conditioning is fitted in all rooms. A mini fridge and safe is also available in all rooms at an additional charge. WiFi is available in all rooms.
Family rooms are not available, however, interconnecting rooms are also available.

Be sure to check YouTube for the latest video reviews, but based on over 5,000 TripAdvisor reviews, including reviews from 2025 , guests have rated the Sol Tenerife by Melia 3.5 out of 5 (Very Good). Positive reviews from customers commented on how clean the hotel was, as well as the good food on offer in the restaurant and the excellent staff. Negative comments were about how busy the hotel restaurant got in the evening, about the noise from nearby bars (which is to be expected when staying in popular Playa de las Americas near the bars of Veronicas strip), and that one or two customers had noticed cockroches around the hotel.
