Previously known as the TUI FAMILY LIFE Tropical resort, this TUI BLUE For Families hotel is located only a 20 minute coach transfer from Dalaman airport, making it very easy and convenient to get to.
In terms of things to do, take your pick! From enjoy 7, yes 7, swimming pools including several waterslides, to taking part in family football games or wellbeing classes, there is so much going on that none of the family will be bored. Of course, if all you want to do is relax and unwind, the hotel is in a prime beachfront location, with soft golden sand, and ideal for relaxing with the lapping sound of the waves. Fancy truly unwinding? Head to the spa for a relaxing body wrap or massage treatment.

Room Types
There are several room types here including a honeymoon suite, but this place is great for families, so be sure to take a look at the family rooms as a nice upgrade for a little extra space. All rooms have free WiFi, a safe, as well as air conditioning between May and October. The hotel has been assessed by AccessAble and the hotel is generally suitable for people with reduced mobility, with adapted rooms available upon request, and subject to availability.
Rooms are cleaned daily, however bathroom towels are changed on request, and bed sheets are changed every 3 days in an effort to be a more sustainable resort.

Double Room With Balcony Or Terrace
Double rooms are the basic room type here and come with a balcony or terrace for you to enjoy. These rooms are designed for up to 3 people, with a double bed and a sofa-bed in the living area. All rooms have air conditioning between May and October, tea & coffee making facilities, a mini fridge, hairdryer and TV.
Family rooms here are a great option if you're away with young children. There's a double bed and a separate sofa bed in the living area. Baby cots are also available to borrow, along with other equipment like pushchairs and bottle warmers for hire.
Suites provide that little extra space and privacy, with a separate area of the room, separated by sliding doors, for the double bed. The living area can also sleep up to 2 people on sofa beds.
For a bit of extra space, upgrade to the Junior Suite to have a separate bedroom with a king size bed. Two sofa beds in the lounge mean these suites can sleep up to 4 people. As with all other rooms, you'll get a balcony or terrace, private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, as well as air conditioning during the summer. Rooms also have a safety deposit box.

Swimming Pools
There are 7 swimming pools here, including 3 children's pools, a huge outdoor pool with two waterslides (surrounded by sun loungers and parasols), which is also where many of the pool activities are run. There's also a quiet pool if the main pool is getting a little too noisy for you.
Kids Club
There is a fantastic kids' club at the TUI BLUE Tropical, after all it is a TUI BLUE For Families resort. The club is split into age groups (3-5 years and 6-11 years), with The Hangout club being an area for teenagers. Parent and toddler sessions are available in July and August, and a Baby Club is also available with fully trained staff to look after the very little ones to help you get a bit of a rest. Between June and August, kids can also take part in a football academy or swim academy (both of which cost extra). There are also children's swimming pools with waterslides too.
Entertainment
During the day, a wealth of activities and poolside games are on offer, hosted by the excellent entertainment team. As daylight fades, evening entertainment kicks in with mini-disco for the kids, shows and performances, as well as live music, finished off with a disco for adults.
Spa & Fitness Centre
The gym and spa will help you stick to your fitness goals while you're away, and help you unwind to make the most of your holiday. Book a treatment or two for the ultimate in relaxation, from a quick manicure before dinner, to full body wraps and swedish massages. Wellbeing sessions and yoga classes are also available.
Sports Facilities
There are a whole bunch of sports facilities to enjoy while you're on holiday. Most are free, but some do have an extra charge. Head to the tennis courts for a quick match before lunch, join in the water polo at the pool during the day, and there's also a family football session too.

There are six restaurants and six bars here, with guests able to eat in the buffet restaurant as much as they like, as well as one meal per week in each of the Italian, Asian and Taverna restaurants. Dinner at the Green & Grill restaurant is available to enjoy for an extra fee. Snacks like afternoon ice creams and cakes are included within the all inclusive offering.
Restaurants
There is one buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner as part of the all inclusive option, as well as 5 a la carte restaurants to help mix up your dining choices each week. The buffet restaurant also has a dedicated kids section and healthy food options too.
All guests can enjoy one dinner per week at the Taverna restaurant as part of their all inclusive holiday. Here you'll enjoy fantastic dining at a Greek style restaurant serving up plenty of local and Mediterranean dishes.
Prima Cucina
Prima Cucina is the Italian restaurant which is also a la carte. Hotel guests can have one meal here per week within their dining programme.

Spice is another fantastic dinner option for those on all inclusive, with one meal included per week.

Green & Grill is a signature a la carte restaurant offering a menu of grilled meat, fish and vegetables. Dining here costs extra, but if you do, make sure you get a table by the water.
Coffee Shop
The coffee shop and juice bar is the perfect place to get your morning pick-me-up. There is an extra charge for this but you can enjoy a range of coffees, teas and smoothies, as well as pastries.
Bars
There are six bars here including a lobby bar, pool bar, beach bar and a sports bar. In the evenings, there's a bar dedicated for dancing the night away at the disco.
Things to Do
There are loads of things to do at the hotel, but you can also venture outside and find out more about Turkey, as well as enjoy an adventure or two. It's worth noting that there aren't really any shops in the local area, so if you did want to go shopping you'd need to jump in a taxi and head to Dalaman town, or venture over to Gocek for a day out.
Water Sports
Being on the beachfront, the sandy beach provides the perfect place to try out a new sport, whether that's jumping in a kayak, going snorkelling or parasailing for an exciting view of the landscape.
Day Trips & Excursions
While you might just want to flop on a sunbed for your whole holiday, there's so much to explore. Your hotel staff or holiday rep can help you book onto a day trip or excursion to find out more about the area. From visiting a turtle sanctuary where hawksbill sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach, to heading out on a yacht and exploring the coastline for the day.

Getting Here
If you've booked a flight and hotel package directly with TUI, your airport transfers are probably included, so all you need to do is speak to the holiday rep at the airport, and they will direct you to the correct coach. The coach transfer takes around 20 minutes from Dalaman airport. If you want to hire a car, it's best to do this in advance and pick up the car from the airport. This then gives you the freedom to explore the Dalaman area as you please.

Many of the positive comments are about the friendly and helpful hotel staff, great food and excellent entertainment. Any negative comments are generally around how busy the hotel can get at certain times of the year.
Both the TUI BLUE Tropical and the Holiday Village Turkey next door can host weddings and honeymoons, with dedicated honeymoon suites also available. There is a slight dress code in the evenings for men. Bermuda shorts / tailored shorts are fine, however, sportswear, swimwear and sleeveless shirts are not to be worn in the evenings at the restaurants.
