Just 19km from Dalaman Airport is the Holiday Village Turkey, located in Sarigerme. Part of the TT Hotels Group, this popular First Choice/TUI resort is right on the beach so when the seven, yes, seven, swimming pools and four waterslides get boring, you can take a few steps to enjoy the sand between your toes.
Being all-inclusive, you really don't have to worry about much at all. A couple of the activities such as swimming lessons, bowling alley and football academy are at an additional cost, but otherwise you've got plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained from crazy golf to the aerial adventure.
In the evening, you'll have a choice of four restaurants (most meals will be at the buffet style restaurant), with kid's dining and late night options too. Then there's the evening entertainment. A mix of themed nights, pop shows, karaoke and cabaret.
For the more practical stuff, there's free WiFi, a mini-market for snacks and a shop for all your beach bits in case you forgot the suncream. Reviews from previous guests are pretty good with many commenting on how family friendly the hotel is.
Room Types
There are several room types at the Holiday Village Sarigerme, including accessible, and run family rooms with kid's dens, perfect for a family of four. Or if you're celebrating, why not upgrade to a Select or Suite room for a little extra special something. All rooms have sliding doors separating the bedroom area from the living area, as well as a mini fridge for anything you need to keep cool, and there is a hairdryer in all rooms. You can also upgrade selected rooms to have a whirlpool bath.
Double Room
Double rooms are the standard room type and can sleep up to three adults and offer either a balcony or terrace, together with air-conditioning, mini-fridge and satellite TV.
One bedroom family rooms sleep up to four people between a double and two sofa beds. Mini-fridge, and air-conditioning come as standard in these room types.
One bedroom family rooms with a kid's den is a fun upgrade, with the kids sleeping on bunk beds separate to the main double bed and have either a balcony or terrace.
Suites are a lovely upgrade and provide a completely separate sleeping area along with balcony or terrace and whirlpool bath, plus slippers and bathrobes too.
The Holiday Village in Sarigerme can only be booked via TUI, First Choice and Holiday Hypermarket for flight inclusive holidays, therefore companies like Jet2holidays, On The Beach and Love Holidays, don't sell it. What that means though is your package is ATOL protected, giving you financial protection, although you should still take out comprehensive travel insurance. Hotel Only
During the low seasons in April and October, you can also get it as hotel only via Booking.com, or you can book direct on the hotel website, and organise your flight separately. This can be particularly useful if your better option is flying with another airline like Jet2 or Corendon Airlines, although bear in mind that things like check-in luggage and airport transfers might not be included within your package as a result.

There are 7 fantastic pools here, ranging from kids pools and waterslides, to relaxation pools and jacuzzis with ample sun loungers. There's also a heated indoor pool if you want to get out of the sun or the weather isn't as good as hoped while you're there.

For those who like to stay fit and keep off those extra calories on holiday, the gym is open from 10am - 7pm with a range of cardio machines and free weights. The pool bar is the snack bar and serves lunch for all guests, as well as offering poolside snacks throughout the day as well as local beers, wines and cocktails from its drinks menu.

Things to Do
Holiday Villages are unique to TUI, which means it's all inclusive, and that includes the flights, airport transfers and one piece of checked-in luggage per person. Once you arrive in resort, your wristband will allow you access to snacks as well as meals and drinks. With so much to do in resort, you may not want to venture out, however, the Holiday Village Turkey is located near Sarigerme, so you can easily take a stroll outside and have a wander around the local shops and bars during the peak summer season.
Beach Watersports
Being located right on the beach, you've got to try out a few watersports here. From windsurfing and kayaking to scuba diving, it's great to get a little adventurous on holiday.
Excursions
There are a number of great day trips and excursions you can do from the hotel. You can either book these in advance or the TUI team at the hotel can help you with suggestions and organising these. Trips include heading into Sarigerme town for a bit of shopping at Ortaca market and trying out the local cuisine or nightlife, as well as a fun day at Dalyan's mud baths.
Water parks
Although there are four fun waterslides here, if you fancy a fun day out in the sun, the nearest water parks are Water World Waterpark just past Fethiye (about a 70 minute drive), and Aqua Dream Water Park near Marmaris (about a 90 minute drive).

Getting Here
The hotel is just 20km from Dalaman Airport, taking just 20 minutes to get there which is great when you want to be out by the pool with a cocktail in hand as quickly as possible. When booking direct with TUI and First Choice, your airport transfer is probably included, however, if you do choose to hire a car (if you're planning to explore the region), you can book in advance and pick it up from the airport. Alternatively you can organise to hire a car for a shorter period at the hotel. There is a free car park.
