Riu Oliva Beach Resort

Riu Oliva Beach Resort Fuerteventura

The ClubHotel Riu Oliva Beach Resort sits on an absolutely stunning stretch of Fuerteventura's coastline just south of Corralejo. This popular resort in the Canary Islands is a favourite of Brits and with top holiday brands, with its self contained facilities, four pools, multiple restaurants and easy access to the beach, plus no noisy traffic or streets. You definitely won't need to venture out as it's the ideal cheap beach hotel at a truly "fly and flop" destination.

As you'll see from the photos, the beach here is simply incredible with turquoise blue water, the stuff your Instagram dreams are made of, and means you've got the choice of spending your day by one of four pools or taking a few steps and heading to the beach. The entertainment team put on a great show, from daytime activities by the pool and kids' clubs to evening entertainment and live shows. There's an on-site disco staying open until 2am six nights a week but if you want those really late club nights, you might be better suited to somewhere closer to Corralejo.

Latest holiday offers

You can book a package holiday with flights and the hotel through all the favourite holiday brands including First Choice, TUI, Travel Republic and Hays Travel, all of which are ABTA and ATOL protected, so when you book a flight inclusive package holiday, your money is protected. Whether it's 3 nights, 7 nights or 2 weeks, you'll be able to book the right holiday for you, and depending on when and who you book with, you may also be able to pay a low deposit initially and make monthly payments over time.

We always recommend booking a holiday protected by the ATOL scheme, for which you'll receive an ATOL certificate when you book, but if you do choose to book your hotel separately for whatever reason, sites like Booking.com, Trivago and the official RIU hotel website allow you to do so. Please see the booking conditions for information on any cancellation and change fees. If you book these elements separately and you're flight is cancelled, you may not be able to recover the cost of your hotel if you are unable to travel.

Whether you want to simply relax in the sunshine or stay busy, it's a great hotel for this, but you can also book excursions in Fuerteventura, Spain such as dune buggy off-road trips to scuba diving, with top brands like Viator.

Worried, you might get bored on an all inclusive holiday? Fear not, there is plenty to do outside the hotel if you want to escape. Here are some of our favourites:

Beach

One of the biggest draws of the hotel Riu Oliva Beach is the beach itself. The Grandes Playas Corralejo, is an enormous stretch of sand along the east coast, so big that even in summer, you'll have plenty of space to enjoy, and the water here is that idyllic turquoise blue you always see in pictures. If you're hiring a car, there are also some stunning beaches dotted around the island. From cute little coves to the expansive beaches in and around Jandia and Morro Jable.

Excursions

If you like to explore a destination, prebook an organised excursions, from visiting the sand dunes of the Parque Natural de Corralejo, to a day trip into Corralejo town itself. Or why not head out on a boat trip to discover nearby Los Lobos Island or go dolphin spotting.

Nightlife

Fuerteventura isn't as well known for its nightlife as some of the other more populated Canary Islands but you can still find some great bars and clubs. While there's entertainment at the resort, if you prefer, you can jump in a taxi and head up to Corralejo where you'll find a bigger number of bars and restaurants. If you prefer to be much closer to the nightlife, you should probably take a look at other hotels which are closer to Corralejo, Fuerteventura.
