There are some fantastic offers on at the hotel, particularly when you book and flight and hotel package together. Keep an eye out for discount codes with brands like Jet2, First Choice and TUI, as well as free child places. You can even book a low deposit holiday from as little as £60pp.

Other brands including Teletext Holidays, Love Holidays, On The Beach and Travel Republic also sell the Barcelo Beach Resort as part of packages with flights. These can be really affordable, especially when combing with low cost flights like Ryanair and easyJet, but when you use a travel agent, do make sure that you have financial protection. You should also check and know what is included in the cost of your holiday as things like check-in bags, seat selection and airport transfers.

Facilities

There are a wealth of amenities and facilities at the hotel catering to both families, friends and couples.

The resort offers a wide range of fun and exciting activities for guests, including a number which do have an extra charge such as mini golf and tennis. Guests also have the option of utilising some of the great facilities at the nearby Barcelo Fuerteventura Thalasso Spa hotel including the gym and spa thermal circuit (both at additional fee).

Swimming Pools

There are four outdoor swimming pools in the resort, including a dedicated children's pool, a heated pool (perfect for the winter months and heated between November and April), and a mini splashpark for the little ones.

For an extra charge, guests can use the gym at the resort's sister hotel nearby which offers a range of free weights and cardio equipment.

Entertainment

With plenty of daytime and evening entertainment options, it's easy to see why this Barcelo hotel is so popular. Kids' Club

Food & Drink

All board basis' are catered for here, meaning whether you prefer to cook most of your meals and enjoy the odd one or two in Caleta de Fuste, or you prefer to stay in the resort and enjoy the two restaurants on offer.

All Inclusive

For those enjoying an all inclusive holiday, all meals included are served in the El Castillo restaurant, and there is also the option to pay more and enjoy a meal at the El Camarote a la carte restaurant.

El Castillo Buffet Restaurant - This is the main buffet restaurant at the resort, providing a wide range of dishes and even has a dedicated kids buffet section too. Highchairs and a microwave to heat baby food is also available.
El Camarote Restaurant - El Camarote is the hotel's a la carte restaurant and serves up a mix of great international food for lunch and dinner.

Meal times at the buffet restaurant are from 7:30am - 10:30am for breakfast, 1pm - 3pm for lunch, and 6:30pm - 9:30pm for dinner.

There are a couple of bars onsite to be enjoyed.

Calima Pool Bar

The Calima Pool Bar is open from 10am - 6pm and is perfect if you just fancy a snack or a drink while you're sunbathing.

La Perlita

La Perlita is the hotel's snack bar which is located by the beach and is open from 10:30am until 10:30pm.

Things To Do

Located in the popular Caleta de Fuste, there are lots of activities to do both in the hotel and closeby, whether you prefer a more chilled out and relaxing holiday, or a bit more of a party.

Beach

Along with being close to the airport, the Playa del Castillo beach is one of the biggest draws to this part of the Canaries. Although man-made, the beach is huge and offers plenty of space, with shallow and calm waters being perfect for families too.

Excursions

Being so close to the marina, if you fancy a bit of a day trip, there are one or two boat trips you can take including the OBYCAT catamaran. If you love a bit of adventure you can also tryout the latest craze of flyboarding. The dunes of Corralejo are also a great day out for the beach, as is a trip into Corralejo town.

Nightlife

Caleta de Fuste isn't as well known for its nightlife however there are a number of bars in the area to enjoy late into the night. Head down to the marina for drinks at Noray Sports Bar or alternatively take a trip to the main stretch of bars and restaurants on Avenida Alcalde Juan Ramon Soto Morales.

Getting Here

The Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort is just 7km away from Fuerteventura airport meaning you can be by the pool before lunchtime. The journey by airport coach transfer will take around 15-20 minutes depending on any other hotel stops you make but a taxi will only take about 10 minutes.
