The Apartamentos Hesperia Bristol Playa complex offers 186 apartments ranging from one bedroom apartments with pool view terrace to a two bedroom apartment with ocean view balconies. At the heart of the holiday complex are the three lagoon style pools with poolside bar, open in the summer season afternoons and offering guests a range of drinks and food, including paella and tapas.

Swimming Pools

The complex is build around the two swimming pools which are separated by a little bridge and island. There's also a separate children's pool. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool area.

Food & Drink

The on-site restaurant is really the pool bar and offers a range of drinks and snacks throughout the day, with breakfast starting from 9am weekdays and 10am weekends. Although the bar is open until 8pm, the kitchen closes at 6pm. Bed & breakfast and half board holidays are no longer available here. It is self catering only. The onsite supermarket sells all the necessary food essentials for those after a quick snack or a more substantial meal back at the apartment.

Sports

Also within the complex is a 24 hour fitness centre, along with other activities such as darts, billiards and a volleyball court. If you're feeling even more active, you can hire bikes and explore Corralejo and the surrounding area.

Entertainment

Although there isn't a kids club, the dedicated children's pool and children's play area ensure they have things to do. The seasonal evening entertainment is aimed more at kids than adults but still entertaining, so if it's more of a grown up evening you're after, a good walk or short taxi ride away are the main bars and restaurants in Corralejo.

Rooms

Each apartment offers a terrace or balcony with views over the pool, or you can upgrade your accommodation to a sea view apartment to help you get that holiday feeling. Each apartment also offers a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink and two hot plates, so whether you're self catering or enjoying half board, you've got ample cooking facilities for full blown dinners or a light lunch.

For those wanting to stay connected, free WiFi is available in all apartments at Bristol Playa and apartments also have a satellite TV with a number of popular English channels including ITV and BBC.

Things To Do

If you're feeling even more active, for an additional cost, you can also hire bikes and explore the local area of Corralejo or even head to the nearby beach and take advantage of Fuerteventura's famous winds by having a surfing or wind surfing lesson. There are a number of small businesses at Corralejo's Playa La Goleta beach which offer a range of activities including day trips to Los Lobos island and scuba diving. Las Dunas National Park is closeby too.

Along that same stretch of beach sits a number of great bars and restaurants such as Waikiki Beach Club, a bar and restaurant serving up a range of Spanish dishes and tasty cocktails to be enjoyed out in the sunshine.

The Hesperia Bristol Playa is conveniently located close to Corralejo harbour so if you fancy something a little different, there are a number of options here. Take the ferry over to Lanzarote to explore another one of the Canary Islands or alternatively take one of the numerous sightseeing tours, including glass bottom boat and day trip to Lobos Island.

Practical Information

Corralejo is located in the north of the island, so the drive from Fuerteventura airport to the Hesperia Apartments takes about 45 minutes. If you've hired a car and are driving to Corralejo, the Bristol Playa offers free, outdoor parking for guests staying at the complex.
