If you love your meat, Montauk is for you. This a la carte steakhouse restaurant offers a wide range of cuts of steak (and fish dishes if you prefer), paired up with a variety of sides like mashed potato, Canarian potatoes, and tasty vegetables. It's open on Fridays to Sundays from 6:30pm to 10:30pm and guests need to make a reservation to dine here.
Capolavoro Restaurant
Capolavoro is HRs Italian restaurant and serves up a delicious range of Italian cuisine, from the huge range of homemade pasta and pizzas, to the devine desserts available. Reservations are required here with it only being open on Wednesday and Thursday nights between 6:30pm and 10:30pm, and if you fancy a treat, be sure to try out the Tagliatelle All'astice with lobster.
Constant Grind Coffee Shop
Open from 9am until 6pm, the Constant Grind Coffee Shop helps fill that caffeine fix, along with other specialities on the drinks menu including herbal teas and smoothies. Plus you can grab a bite to eat here too with food including sandwiches and cakes.

The 16th Sky Lounge Bar
The Sixteenth bar is the hotel's seriously impressive rooftop bar, situated on the 16th floor, offering incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, sunsets and Mount Teide behind. The comprehensive drinks menu suits all tastes whether you simply enjoy few beers in the afternoon sunshine, or prefer a sunset cocktail with a view. The 16th sky lounge bar is open from 6pm until 12am (midnight) from Wednesdays to Sundays. The bar also hosts a number of events on the roof, including Candy Rock, In Heaven and Sunset Festival, offering a laid back atmosphere on a Sunday.
Things to Do
Playa Paraiso is one of Tenerife's quieter holiday resorts, however, there are still bars and restaurants in the area to enjoy in the area. If you fancy hitting the busier resorts of Costa Adeje and Las Americas one day or evening, the journey will take about 15 minutes by car depending on the traffic.
Beaches
It's no surprise to want to spend your days by the various pools, however, if you fancy a little trip to the beach, there are two small, black sand beaches close to the hotel, Playa Las Galgas and Playa El Pinque. Although both don't have many facilities on offer, they are within walking distance. If you prefer a beach with more to see and do, Playa Del Duque is a 15 minute drive away, and offers cafes, bars and restaurants close by.
Siam Park
For an action packed day out, 15 minutes by car is Siam Park waterpark. With a splash park for the young children, large wave pool to relax by and adrenaline water slides to those who like a thrill, there's something for everyone, plus lockers to keep your valuables safe and restaurants to keep the family full.
Hard Rock Cafe
The hotel's sister restaurant, Hard Rock Cafe, in Playa de las Americas, is an option while you're visiting the busy Las Americas area. The hotel puts on a free shuttle bus once a day to Siam Mall and Hard Rock Cafe, so lunch and a short day trip out is definitely an option.

Getting Here
It's about 30km between Tenerife South airport and the Hard Rock Hotel. You can expect a journey time of around 40-45 minutes by coach transfer or 20-25 minutes by car/taxi depending on the motorway traffic. The hotel is on the 471 and 473 bus routes. If you choose to take public transport from the airport, you will need to take a bus to Los Cristianos and then change onto the 471 bus which goes directly to the Hard Rock via Las Americas and Playa Fanabe.
The Hard Rock has a daily free shuttle bus which sets off in the mid-morning and runs to Siam Mall (walking distance to Siam Park) and Hard Rock Cafe in Playa de las Americas. The return shuttle leaves Las Americas around 5:30pm but always check the correct times with the hotel before you set off.

As with any five star hotel, TripAdvisor reviews of the Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife in 2024 are very positive, commenting on the fantastic staff, excellent service, great food and superb facilities on offer, from the pools to the restaurants. The only negative comments that come up more often is the location of the hotel. Playa Paraiso is a smaller resort area on Tenerife and a little out on its own as a resort. As a result it's a 10-15 minute drive from the Hard Rock to Costa Adeje.
