Rooms
There are several room types here, many with sea views and believe us when we say, we thoroughly recommend upgrading to a sea view room. You're on the right side of the island for gorgeous sunsets, whether you prefer to chill on the balcony to capture the last of the Spanish sunshine, or you prefer to head down to the bar and enjoy your favourite cocktail as the sun sets over the island of La Gomera.
All rooms here have a prviate balcony or terrace with chairs and table, a bathroom with shower, air conditioning, hairdryer, free WiFi, free bottled water on arrival and a choice of pillows. An iron and ironing board are available by calling reception staff.

Double Room With Balcony
The main room type here is a double room with a balcony or a terrace which can sleep up to 3 adults, with two on the double bed and one on a sofa bed. These rooms face inland towards the rest of the town. All rooms have a mini-fridge, air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a TV and hairdryer.
Double Room With Sea View
Similar to the standard rooms, double rooms with a sea view are just that, they have a gorgeous sea view of the Atlantic Ocean, the sunset and over to the island of La Gomera. All the other mod-cons you'll need for your stay including a TV and free WiFi if you want to stay connected.

With over 3,000 reviews on TripAdvisor, the TUI BLUE Los Gigantes reviews are generally very positive with previous guests rating the hotel 4 out of 5 on average. Many of the positive reviews are about the hotel being a great place for a relaxed holiday in Tenerife, decent food and friendly staff. Many of the negative reviews are around the hotel needing a bit of TLC, evening entertainment being a bit better, and location being further away from the airport.
Our Trip Review
We stayed in 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a bit of a drive from the airport, but then you do get to be in a gorgeous location. We would recommend upgrading to a seaview room, and going half board (full board is also an option) so that you can go and eat out at local restaurants. The morning sunbed rush is a pain, so just beware that you might need to be up and about in the mornings to get a decent sunbed. Spa is lovely and we thoroughly recommend the sunset yoga.
