Things to do in Los Cristianos

Being close to the port, one of the must-dos in Tenerife is to head out on some sort of boat or kayak trip. Whether you fancy a bit of parasailing, kayaking around the rocks to see dolphins, or simply head out to enjoy some sunshine at sea, spending time on the water should definitely be on your to-do list.

Take some time away from the pool and head down to either Playa de Los Tarajales or Playa de Los Cristianos, the two beaches in this part of town. Both sheltered with sand to play in, you'll also get a great view of the ships and boats going in and out of the harbour.

For something a little more active, a morning hike up to Montana de Guaza will not only make sure you earn your lunch, but the views from up here are spectacular, offering sights down to Los Cristianos and Las Americas, as well as across the sea to La Gomera.

As with most resorts on Tenerife, there’s a variety of accommodation options to choose from including self catering apartments to help keep the cost down. But don't worry, there are plenty of supermarkets to grab the essentials and more than enough restaurants to choose from if you are eating out.
